Cambugahay Falls, Siquior

One of my favorite spot in Siquior is the Cambugahay falls,  it has three levels of short but wide size that is not very intimidating to jump in. This is why many people enjoy doing there Tarzan jump with the vines on the trees. It is not very hard going to this place, you will only descend to long cemented stairs. It is only a challenge going up for those who are not that fit.

Lazi Church, Siquior

The San Isidro Labrador Parish Church commonly known as Lazi Church, is a Roman Catholic church in the municipality of Lazi, Siquijor, Philippines within the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Dumaguete. It became an independent parish in 1857 under the advocacy of Saint Isidore the Laborer.

When we got here I notice some huge beautiful Balite trees along the road and an old big convent in front of it which is being repaired. The church has a rustic fell with a European style. There were locals who offers to sell red candles for those who will be praying . The place is very peaceful.

Salagdoong Beach, Siquior

Located in the beautiful and mystical island of Siquior is Salagdoong Beach. The island offers a lot of resort but the best attraction of this place is the cliff jump. The height can be intimidating but it will give you that adrenaline rush if you manage to conquer your fear. It offers a lot of cottages and a place to stay and eat. The water were clear and the sand is white. The place has a fun vibe and it is a good place to socialize. Continue reading “Salagdoong Beach, Siquior”

Botanical Garden, Baguio City

The flowers bloom before summer, so it is better to during those months.

Strawberry Farm, Baguio

The strawberry farm in La Trindad, Baguio city is one popular tourist destination although it is not much a pretty spot to take photos  but it is the experience of harvesting strawberries that makes people want to go here. There are also souvenirs shops around the area where you can buy your “pasalubong”. The place is not always available for harvesting so better check out the season before visiting.
