This place is one of my favorite in Baguio because it is not crowded and the garden is very relaxing and beautiful. There were sculptures, ethnic huts where you can take pretty photos, at the gate there are elderly Igorots in their traditional outfit where you can take photos with for a fee. The flowers bloom before summer, so it is better to during those months.
Tamawan Village is a sanctuary for local artist in Baguio city. They have an art gallery, souvenir shops and a cafe. You can also enjoy the garden and fish ponds here. It also have a replica of traditional houses were you can stay for the night.
The strawberry farm in La Trindad, Baguio city is one popular tourist destination although it is not much a pretty spot to take photos but it is the experience of harvesting strawberries that makes people want to go here. There are also souvenirs shops around the area where you can buy your “pasalubong”. The place is not always available for harvesting so better check out the season before visiting.
Mount Ulap which is located in Itogon, Benguet is one unique mountain I have climbed. It is different from the lush jungle feel that I was used to. This one has a lot of pine trees and the path is wide and open. Hiking here can be very relaxing if you are not in a hurry. The weather is cool although there is not much shade to protect you from the sun but this place can get very cloudy and foggy in the afternoon. If you are aiming to get a clearing for your photos. I would suggest that you start your hike very early in the morning.
Pandin lake is very serene and mysterious because the water is dark and still but if you are with friends the place can be very active. I don’t think it is a good idea going here alone because the main activity here is to rent a bamboo raft and eat on the other side of the lake and swim. Part also of the package is going to Yambo lake which is very near Pandin lake. Although we are not allowed to get close to it for some reason. You are just allowed to view and take photos.
The weather was perfect when we went here. The colors were so bright. The blue sky, the green trees and the white and red colors of the building were so saturated. Cape Bojeador Lighthouse, also known as Burgos Lighthouse, is a cultural heritage structure in Burgos, Ilocos Norte, that was established during the Spanish Colonial period in the Philippines. It was first lit on March 30, 1892.
It was a hot afternoon when we went to Kapurpurawan in Ilocos Norte. So the colors that day was very graphic. The deep blue sky against the chalk white colors of the rocks were so vivid. It felt surreal to be in that place. It is a great spot to take fashion photos because the colors can look commercial. I suggest that you go on a morning to avoid the intense heat.
